What is forum roleplaying?

TOALE Forum Roleplaying is a temporary category for roleplaying you're character in the TOR era, on the forum until the game is released. This gives you a chance to get a feel for you're character, and roleplay with others.

How does it work?

The GM (gamemaster) posts a plot or scene to roleplay in, and a paragraph to introduce it. For example:

Thread Title: SKIRMISH IN THE CANTINA

The Cantina in Nal Hutta is filled with dunkards and spicers as always. Holograms of dancing Twi'leks beam down from the ceilings, and men circle them, half drunk with drinks in their hands. An armoured Rodian sits in the far corner, he scans the crowd quietly. A male Twi'lek smuggler walks in and takes a seat at the bar. The rodian stands up, cocking his gun, he moves towards the Twi'lek. He fires a shot towards him, but it misses and smashes a line of bottles behind the bar. The Twi'lek raises his blaster, and the two fall into a gunfight. The cantina patrons begin to stand back, watching the fight intently.

Example: Bounty Hunter Rodian, and Twi'lek Smuggler Roles will be played by GM.

You could then reply, in character to the post as if you're character was one in the crowd of Cantina Patrons, the bartender perhaps, or whichever role suits best.

Categories
There are two categories in TOALE Forum Roleplaying. One is the Cantina, for Cantina/Bar/Nightclub related scenes. The other is Elsewhere, for all other scenes.

Timeline

The timeline is during the TOR Era. Supposedly 200 or so years after KOTOR 2. According to the Star Wars Wiki: 3,656 BBY
